Maharashtrian Potato Recipe |
Potato, the most common ingredient in any kitchen. However, this recipe not only is used during fasting in Maharashtra - India, but you can have it during other days too. Ingredients:
2 Medium Boiled Potatoes
3 tbsp. Roasted Groundnut Powder
2 tsp. Clarified Butter
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
2 Green Chilies
Sugar
Salt
Recipe:
Cut the boiled potatoes into small pieces.
Keep your pan on medium heat. Add clarified butter to that.
Once the butter melts, add cumin seeds and green chilies and mix it properly.
Now add potatoes and mix it well. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add roasted groundnut powder and mix it well. Please make sure you gently mix other ingredients with groundnut powder as potatoes are already boiled and we don't want to break them.
Finally add sugar and salt as per taste and our 'Upwas Batata Bhaji' is ready.
