This
is a famous Maharashtra - India recipe , more popular in Sangli. Rice
flakes, coconut, onion, green peppers deliver a bold punch and
make you want more. Enjoy this as an evening snack or even as
breakfast !! You will love it.
Ingredients:
1.5 Cup Thin
Poha
1/4 Cup Buttermilk
3/4 Cup Grated
Coconut
8-10 Green
Chilies
2 Onions(Medium)
8-10 Curry Leaves
2 tsp Lemon Juice
2-3 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Sugar
Salt: as per taste
Coriander/Cilantro:for garnishing
For Tempering:
2 tsp Mustard
Seeds
1 tsp Cumin
Seeds
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
1 tsp Turmeric
Powder
Recipe:
1. Add
buttermilk,Sugar, Salt in to the pohe and keep it aside for 5-7
mins.
2. Heat
oil in the pan and add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Asafoetida, Turmeric Powder and mix it well.
3. Now
add curry leaves and green chilies and mix it well.
4. Add onions and cook them till they become transparent.
5. Next
step is to add cooked onions followed by coconut and lemon juice to
poha.
6. Mix it well and our dish will be ready.
7. Garnish
it with Coriander and serve it.
