Golden Delights - Corn Nuggets
This mouth watering corn recipe will send you in a magical journey of flavors. Once you make them you will have to make them again and again :) Its a combination of corn, green peppers , black pepper, cheese and lots of love. Do post your comments to let me know your feedback !

Ingredients:

For Filling:
1 Cup Boiled Corn
1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese
1 tsp Chili Flakes
1 tsp Clack Pepper
2 Green Chilies
Salt As per taste
Oil For frying

For Outer Cover:
4 tbsp Rice Flour
1 tbsp Chickpea Flour
1 tsp Chili Flakes
Water as required

Recipe:
For Filling:
1. Just mix all of the ingredients together except cheese and grind them together.
2. Now add cheese to the mixture and mix it well.
3. Make small balls of the mixture and keep it aside.

For Outer Cover:
1. Mix all of the ingredients together except water.
2. Now add sufficient amount of water to make watery paste.

For Final Product:
1. dip the balls into rice flour mixture and deep fry it in oil.
2. Fry them till they become golden brown and our dish is ready.

Benefits:
1. Very easy, tasty and quick.
2. Best dish in rainy season.

This is a famous Maharashtra - India recipe , more popular in Sangli. Rice flakes, coconut, onion, green peppers deliver a bold punch and make you want more. Enjoy this as an evening snack or even as breakfast !! You will love it.

Ingredients:
1.5 Cup Thin Poha               
1/4 Cup Buttermilk
3/4 Cup Grated Coconut
8-10 Green Chilies
2 Onions(Medium)
8-10 Curry Leaves
2 tsp Lemon Juice
2-3 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Sugar
Salt: as per taste
Coriander/Cilantro:for garnishing

For Tempering:
2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
1 tsp Turmeric Powder

Recipe:
1. Add buttermilk,Sugar, Salt in to the pohe and keep it aside for 5-7 mins.
2. Heat oil in the pan and add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Asafoetida, Turmeric Powder and mix it well.
3. Now add curry leaves and green chilies and mix it well.
4. Add onions and cook them till they become transparent.
5. Next step is to add cooked onions followed by coconut and lemon juice to poha. 
6. Mix it well and our dish will be ready.
7. Garnish it with Coriander and serve it.

4-5 Onions (Julienne)
1.5 bowl Chickpea flour (Daliche Pith)
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Asafoetida
1.5 tsp Red Chili Powder
4-5 Green Chilies
1 tbsp Oil
Water
Salt



Recipe:
1. Add onions and chickpea flour and all spices together.









2. Now add water, salt and mix it well.

3. The last step is to deep fry the bhaji's and our dish is ready :)










7. Serve them hot.

Water
Salt

Potato, the most common ingredient in any kitchen. However, this recipe not only is used during fasting in Maharashtra - India, but you can have it during other days too. Enjoy this delicious recipe, which comes from Maharashtra, share it with friends and family, and do let me know your feedback too!

Ingredients:
2  Medium Boiled Potatoes
3 tbsp. Roasted Groundnut Powder
2 tsp. Clarified Butter
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
2 Green Chilies
Sugar
Salt

Recipe:
Cut the boiled potatoes into small pieces.
Keep your pan on medium heat. Add clarified butter to that.
Once the butter melts, add cumin seeds and green chilies and mix it properly.
Now add potatoes and mix it well. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add roasted groundnut powder and mix it well. Please make sure you gently mix other ingredients with groundnut powder as potatoes are already boiled and we don't want to break them.
Finally add sugar and salt as per taste and our 'Upwas Batata Bhaji' is ready.

Benefits:
Famous dish of Maharashtra at the time of 'Upwas' i.e. Fasting

Tamarind-Dates-Jaggery Paste Recipe

A healthy, tangy paste is the important ingredients in many street food items. It will add taste to your dish. Just make it and store it in fridge for quick use.

Ingredients:
1/2 Bowl Tamarind
3/4 Bowl Dates
1 Bowl  Jaggery
1 tsp. Cumin Powder
Salt


Recipe:1. Soak Tamarind, Dates and Jaggery overnight.2. In the morning, cook them on medium flame and let it cool for 3 to 4 hours.3. Once the mixture is cool, Grind it. While grinding add cumin powder and salt.4. Please make sure, you add sufficient amount of water to make watery paste.5. After grinding, just strain the mixture and our Tamarind paste will be ready.

2 to 3 Bowl Rice Crispies
4 to 5 tbsp. Farsan
2 to 3 tbsp. Shev
2 to 3 tbsp. Papdi
2 to 3 tbsp.Gathi
4 to 5 tbsp.Tamarind-Dates-Jaggery Paste
2 Medium Onions
2 Medium Tomatoes
1 tsp. Red Chili Powder
For garnishing : Shev &Coriander

Tamarind-Dates-Jaggery Paste:

Recipe:
1. Mix all the dry ingredients together. 
2. Add onions, tomatoes, Red chili powder and Tamarind-Dates-Jaggery Paste to the mixture. 
3. Mix all of this together and our 'Chatpati Bhel' is ready.

Ingredients:
1 Big Bowl Vegetable Mixture
2 Medium Tomato
2 Medium Onion
2 tsp. Ginger-Garlic Paste
1.5 tbsp.Pav Bhaji Masala
1 tbsp. Red Chili Powder
1.5 tbsp.Onion-Garlic-Red Chili Powder ( Kanda-Lasun Masala)
1 to 2 tbsp.Butter
3 tbsp. Oil
4 to 5  Pav Bhaji Bread

For Garnishing:
Onion, Coriander/Cilantro

Vegetable Mixture:
1. Take 2 mash potatoes, 1.5 Bowl of Cauliflower, 1.5 Bowl of Bell Paper,1.5 Bowl of Green Peas 

2. Cook all the vegetables together for half an hour on medium flame. 
  
Recipe:
1. Keep your pan on medium heat and add oil to that. 

2. Once the oil is hot, add onions. Let them cook for few minutes till onions become transparent. 
3. Now add ginger-garlic paste and let it cook for few minutes. 
4. Now add all the spices, mix it properly. and then add tomatoes to the mixture. Let it cook for few more minutes. 
5. Add our mixture of vegetables and mix it properly and let it cook for few minutes. 
6. Now add salt and butter and our pav bhaji is ready. 
7. Garnish it with onion and coriander and serve it with hot bread and lemon wedge.

Amboli is a breakfast item served hot with pickle/white butter/yogurt.
Its a quick recipe and extremely healthy as it not only contains one but three different flours.
You can have it as breakfast or it goes well as evening snacks for children or even brunch.

Ingredients:
2 Bowl Rice Flour
1 Bowl Wheat Flour
1 tbsp. Chick Pea Flour / Besan
1 Big Onion
4 to 5 Green Chili
1/2 tbsp. Turmeric Powder
1/2 to 1 tbsp. Asafoetida
3/4 glass (Tall)  Butter Milk
3/4 bowl Coriander/Cilantro
2 tbsp. Oil
Salt as per taste
Water as required.

Recipe: 
1. Mix all of the flour together in a big mixing bowl.  
2. Now add all the ingredients one by one and mix it well.  
3. Please make sure you add sufficient amount of water to the mixture to make watery paste.  
4. Keep the pan on medium heat and spray some oil on that.  
5. Now add our mixture on the pan. let it cook for 2 minutes.
6. Once it is cooked from bottom, just flip it and cook it from other side as well.
7. Once it is cooked from both side, our Amboli is ready.

3 Bowl Soaked Sabudana
1.5 Bowl Roasted Ground Nut Powder
5 Tbsp. Clarified Butter / Ghee
2 tsp. Cumin Seed
2 to 3 Green Chilies
1 tsp. Sugar (or as per taste)
1.5 tsp. Salt or as per taste
For garnishing  Coriander / Cilantro and Grated Coconut

Tip for Sabudana:

Just add the water till all sago in bowl gets filled and soak overnight. 

Recipe:

1. Create Sabudana/Sago mixture by adding all the ingredients together except cumin seeds and green chilies . 
2. Once the butter melts, add cumin seeds and green chilies to that. Let it cook for few minutes. 
3. Now add Sabudana/Sago mixture and mix it properly. 
4. Cover it with lid and let the mixture cook for 4-5 minutes and our 'Sabudana Khichadi' will be ready. 
5. Garnish it with coconut, cilantro and serve it hot with lemon wedge and bowl of yogurt.

Chutney Sandwiches are loved by all.  Its a quick , easy and healthy snack , an awesome addition to a party, or a picnic or even as a quick lunch in office ! Please do let me know your feedback too ! -

Ingredients:
3 to 4 Bread slices
1/2 to 1 tsp Salted Butter to apply on bread
3-4 tsp Chutney to apply on bread slices
10-12 Cucumber Slices
5-6 Tomato Slices

Recipe:
1. Take 2 bread slices and apply butter on one side of each slice.
2. Then apply chutney on bread slices where you applied butter.
3. Now place slices of cucumber and tomato on chutney.
3. Keep both slices on one another and our sandwich is ready.

Benefits:
1. Very healthy and can be made within few minutes.
2. Quick break fast item.
3. You can also skip cucumber and tomato slices to make it a simple, plain 'Chutney Sandwich'.
