Punjabi Chana Masala |
4-5 tsp Clarified Butter
1.5 tsp Cumin Seeds
3-4 Dried Red Chilies
6-7 Cloves
1 tsp Black Cumin Seeds
2 Big Onions
1 tsp Coriander Powder
2 tsp Cumin Powder
7-8 Black Paper
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
4 tsp Paste Of Tomato
1 glass Water
2 tbsp Peanuts
1 tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasoori Methi)
Salt
Note : Soak Garbanzo Beans Overnight and cook then for 10-15 mins.
Recipe:
1. Keep your pan on medium heat and then add clarified butter to that.
2. Once ghee is hot, add cumin seeds, dried red chilies and cloves.
3. Then add black cumin seeds / shah Jeera and let it cook for one minute .
4. Once it is cooked properly, add onions and let the onions cooked till they change their color.
5. Once onions are cooked, add all other spices except Kasoori Methi.
6. Then add tomato paste, a glass of water and mix it properly.
7. Let the mixture cool for some time. Then grind peanuts and this mixture together.
8. Now add this mixture back to the pan. Finally add kasoori methi, garbanzo beans and salt as per taste and our dish is ready to Serve.
