Chicken Tikka Recipe | High Protein Snack | Healthy Snack | Build Muscle | Lean Protein


Chicken Tikka Recipe
This quick chicken tikka recipe does not need overnight marination or a big list of spices and ingredients. Treat yourself to a very healthy snack or even a meal, paired with lemon or healthy fats like Avocado. Very quick to make, cheap and easy protein snack for all those who are into fitness or want to build muscle. An average chicken breast has around 34 gm of high quality protein.

Ingredients:
1 Diced Chicken Breast 
2 tsp Oil
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Garlic salt
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Recipe:
1. Take a bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix it well. (add just a tsp of oil)
2. Keep it aside for 15 mins.
3. Keep your pan on high heat and add 1 tsp oil.
4. Once oil is hot, add marinated chicken to it. Stir it for few mins.
5. Cover it with lid and cook it for around 4 mins.
6. Once it is cooked, you can easily cut using spatula.

2 Cup Boiled Sprouts
1/2 Onion: Finely Chopped
1/2 Tomato: Finely Chopped
1/2 to 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/4 Cup paste of Tamarind-Jaggery-Dates
1/2 Cup Sev
Coriander/Cilantro: For Decoration

Recipe:
1. Take sprouts in big bowl.
2. Add onion, tomatoes, red chilli powder and mix it well.
3. Now add sev, coriander, tamarind-jaggery-dates paste and mix it well
4. Decorate it with sev and coriander and our dish is ready.

Hara Bhara Kabab

A good tea time snack, healthy snack, starter, appetizer, item for kids tiffin....part of so many categories! Here is my version of Hara Bhara Kabab..can be made very quickly and very very yummy :) Do share your feedback! 

Ingredients:
1 Big Boiled Potato
1/2 Cup Green Peas
1/2 Cup Spinach
3-4 tbsp Coriander/Cilantro
1 tsp Chat Masala
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
3-4 Green Chilies
1" Ginger
Corn Flour: As required
Salt: As per taste
Oil: For shallow Frying
Cashew Nuts: For Decoration
Water: As required for boiling spinach & Green Peas

Recipe:
1. Boil spinach for 5-10 mins and remove excessive water aside.
2. Cook green peas, remove excessive water and keep it aside.
3. Mix spinach, green peas, ginger, green chilies, coriander/cilantro.
4. Grind them together and make a smooth paste.
5. Mash potatoes and add above paste, garam masala, chat masala, salt and mix it well.
6. Now slowly add corn flour to make a dough with soft consistency.
7. Make small portions of the dough and make small patties.
8. Decorate it with cashew nuts and shallow fry from both sides and our dish is ready.

Benefits:
1. Favorite among children.
2. Can be made very quick and delicious.

Ingredients:
4 Cup Boiled Quinoa
1 Boiled Potato
1 Bunch of Spring Onions (7-8 Sticks)
1/2 Bunch Of Coriander/Cilantro
2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
7-8 Garlic Cloves
8-10 Green Chilies
2 tbsp Lime Juice
3/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
Salt: As per taste

Recipe:

1. Mix all of the ingredients together except bread crumbs and grind them.
2. Now add bread crumbs, salt and mix it well to form soft dough.
3. Make small portions of the mixture and press it to form small disc.
4. Shallow fry them and our dish is ready.

Maharashtrian Potato Recipe
Potato, the most common ingredient in any kitchen. However, this recipe not only is used during fasting in Maharashtra - India, but you can have it during other days too. Enjoy this delicious recipe, which comes from Maharashtra, share it with friends and family, and do let me know your feedback too!

Ingredients:
2  Medium Boiled Potatoes
3 tbsp. Roasted Groundnut Powder
2 tsp. Clarified Butter
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
2 Green Chilies
Sugar
Salt

Recipe:
Cut the boiled potatoes into small pieces.
Keep your pan on medium heat. Add clarified butter to that.
Once the butter melts, add cumin seeds and green chilies and mix it properly.
Now add potatoes and mix it well. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add roasted groundnut powder and mix it well. Please make sure you gently mix other ingredients with groundnut powder as potatoes are already boiled and we don't want to break them.
Finally add sugar and salt as per taste and our 'Upwas Batata Bhaji' is ready.

Benefits:
Famous dish of Maharashtra at the time of 'Upwas' i.e. Fasting
Can be made very quick
Very healthy as it contains potatoes, ground nut powder.

2 Avocado
1 Onion
1 Tomato
8 Green Chilies
6 tbsp.Cheddar Cheese

Recipe:
1. First step is to cut the avocado and take pulp out of it. 
2. Take a mixing bowl. Add avocado's, onions, tomatoes and green chilies in that. and mix it properly. 
3. Now add salt as per taste. 
4. Final step is take the toasted pita bread. Spread avocado mixture, garnish it with cheese and our 'Avocado/Guacamole Bites' are ready.

1 Bowl Sabudana/Sago
1/2 Bowl  Roasted Groundnut Powder

Recipe:
1. Just add all the ingredients together and kneed the dough by using some water 
2. Once our dough is ready, the next step is make patice/cutlets. 
3. Make small portions of the mixture and make them in any shape as per your liking :) 
4. Next step is to shallow fry them by using Clarified Butter on medium heat. 
5. Once it is cook from both side our 'Sago Sabudana Cutlets' are ready.

Tamarind-Dates-Jaggery Paste Recipe

A healthy, tangy paste is the important ingredients in many street food items. It will add taste to your dish. Just make it and store it in fridge for quick use.

Ingredients:
1/2 Bowl Tamarind
3/4 Bowl Dates
1 Bowl  Jaggery
1 tsp. Cumin Powder
Salt


Recipe:1. Soak Tamarind, Dates and Jaggery overnight.2. In the morning, cook them on medium flame and let it cool for 3 to 4 hours.3. Once the mixture is cool, Grind it. While grinding add cumin powder and salt.4. Please make sure, you add sufficient amount of water to make watery paste.5. After grinding, just strain the mixture and our Tamarind paste will be ready.

Who does not love Pav Bhaji ? This is authentic way of creating an amazing street food version of the classic recipe. Enjoy and do post your feedback.

Ingredients:
1 Big Bowl Vegetable Mixture
2 Medium Tomato
2 Medium Onion
2 tsp. Ginger-Garlic Paste
1.5 tbsp.Pav Bhaji Masala
1 tbsp. Red Chili Powder
1.5 tbsp.Onion-Garlic-Red Chili Powder ( Kanda-Lasun Masala)
1 to 2 tbsp.Butter
3 tbsp. Oil
4 to 5  Pav Bhaji Bread

For Garnishing:
Onion, Coriander/Cilantro

Vegetable Mixture:
1. Take 2 mash potatoes, 1.5 Bowl of Cauliflower, 1.5 Bowl of Bell Paper,1.5 Bowl of Green Peas 

2. Cook all the vegetables together for half an hour on medium flame. 
  
Recipe:
1. Keep your pan on medium heat and add oil to that. 

2. Once the oil is hot, add onions. Let them cook for few minutes till onions become transparent. 
3. Now add ginger-garlic paste and let it cook for few minutes. 
4. Now add all the spices, mix it properly. and then add tomatoes to the mixture. Let it cook for few more minutes. 
5. Add our mixture of vegetables and mix it properly and let it cook for few minutes. 
6. Now add salt and butter and our pav bhaji is ready. 
7. Garnish it with onion and coriander and serve it with hot bread and lemon wedge.

Amboli is a breakfast item served hot with pickle/white butter/yogurt.
Its a quick recipe and extremely healthy as it not only contains one but three different flours.
You can have it as breakfast or it goes well as evening snacks for children or even brunch.

Ingredients:
2 Bowl Rice Flour
1 Bowl Wheat Flour
1 tbsp. Chick Pea Flour / Besan
1 Big Onion
4 to 5 Green Chili
1/2 tbsp. Turmeric Powder
1/2 to 1 tbsp. Asafoetida
3/4 glass (Tall)  Butter Milk
3/4 bowl Coriander/Cilantro
2 tbsp. Oil
Salt as per taste
Water as required.

Recipe: 
1. Mix all of the flour together in a big mixing bowl.  
2. Now add all the ingredients one by one and mix it well.  
3. Please make sure you add sufficient amount of water to the mixture to make watery paste.  
4. Keep the pan on medium heat and spray some oil on that.  
5. Now add our mixture on the pan. let it cook for 2 minutes.
6. Once it is cooked from bottom, just flip it and cook it from other side as well.
7. Once it is cooked from both side, our Amboli is ready.

Benefits:
