Kadhai Paneer Recipe - Indian Restaurant Style Cottage Cheese

This recipe shows how to make the Indian Cottage Cheese Recipe , Kadhai Paneer, exactly how you get in Indian Restaurants. Enjoy it with bread / naan or even steamed rice. Recipe by Sayali, from SayalisKitchen :)

Ingredients:
200 gm Paneer
1 inch Ginger
2-3 Cloves Of Garlic 
1 tsp Coriander Powder
3/4 tsp Garam Masala
3/4 tsp Red Chili Powder
4-5 Dried Red Chilies
1/2 Green Capsicum/Green Bell Pepper
1.5 Onion
1 Tomato
1/4 Cup of cream
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
Coriander/Cilantro: For Garnishing
Salt: As Per Taste
Water: As Required

Recipe:
1. Keep our pan on medium heat and add oil to that.
2. Once the oil is little bit hot, add butter to the pan.
3. Now add red chilies, ginger, garlic and mix it well. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes.
4. Add onions and let it cook till onions become transparent.
5. Now add tomatoes and let it cook for few more minutes.
6. Now add all the spices and mix it proerly and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
6. Switch off the heat and let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
7. Once the mixture is cool down, just grind it together to make puree.
8. Keep other pan on gas and add little bit oil to that.
9. Once oil is hot, add asafoetida and turmeric powder to that.
10. Pour our puree into pan followed by paneer and mix it well. (Add water if required)
11. Let is cook for few more minutes and then add green pepper.
12. Finally add cream and salt, gently mix it. 
13. Decorate it with coriander and our dish is ready.

4-5 Fried Papad
1 Onions
1 Tomatoes
Shev: For Garnishing
Coriander/Cilantro
Red chili powder
Tamarind-Dates-Jaggery Paste
Yogurt
Note: There is no specific proportion of ingredients in this recipe. Just use the proportion as per your liking.You can also use tortilla instead of papad.

Recipe:
1. Take fried papad on plate.
2. Sprinkle red chili powder on it.
3. Now add onions, followed by tomatoes.
4. Add paste of tamarind-dates-jaggery and yogurt on top of it.
5. Decorate it with shev and coriander and our dish is ready.

here is a quick and easy recipe to turn leftover rice into a spicy tangy variety.

Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Boiled Rice
1 Small Onion
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
Salt: As per taste
Coriander/CIlantro: For garnishing

For Tempering:
1-2 tbsp Oil
3/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder

Recipe:
1. Keep you pan on medium heat and add oil to that.
2. Once oil is hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida,turmeric powder and mix it well.
3. Add onions and let it cook till onions become transparent.
4. Now add boiled rice, red chili powder, salt and mix it well.
5. Decorate it with cilantro and dish is ready.

Here is the recipe which is loved by all...It will be great surprise to those who do not eat egg as it is 'Eggless'. Do post your comments/photos :)

Ingredients:
1.5 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
3 tbsp   Coffee
1/2 cup Milk
1 cup Sugar
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Baking powder
1/4 cup Yogurt
1/4 tsp Lemon juice
1.5 tsp  Vanilla essence
Pinch of salt

Recipe:
1. Add oil, sugar and mix it till light and fluffy.
2. Add yogurt + Lemon Juice and mix it well.
3. Sift all purpose flour + Baking Soda + Baking Soda 2-3 times.
4. Add coffee into milk and stir it till it dissolves completely,
3. Now add milk and yogurt mixture in oil mixture and mix it properly.
4. Now add dry ingredients (All Purpose Flour + Baking Soda +Baking Powder)  into oil mixture slowly and mix it properly.
5. Pour the mixture in greased pan and bake it in cooker for 35-40 mins on low flame.
6. Your yummy cake will be ready.

Can be made very quick and very healthy.
